My Grandma James’ 7-Up Cake


5 eggs
3 cups sugar
3 sticks of butter
1 cup of 7-Up
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla


Cream butter and sugar until smooth then add eggs, one at a time, until mixture is light and fluffy. Next, add 7-Up and flour to mixture, alternately until fully combined. Add lemon and vanilla extract and pour batter into an oiled and floured cake pan. Bake at 350F for 1hr 15 minutes.
